Within the scope of Part 3 of the Aksaray-Ulukışla-Yenice Railway Project, it has been decided to urgently expropriate certain real properties in Adana and Mersin.
Details of the Regulation
Pursuant to the Presidential Decision dated 5 June 2026 and numbered 11403, it has been decided to urgently expropriate the real properties along the route in order to complete the Aksaray-Ulukışla-Yenice Section Part 3 (Km: 55+001.00 - 106+126.00) High Standard Railway Line Project within the planned period. This expropriation transaction, to be carried out by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments, is based on Article 27 of the Expropriation Law No. 2942. The expropriated areas will be registered in the name of the Treasury. The route affected by the expropriation is shown in the sketch attached to the Decision; in this context, real properties in numerous neighborhoods and villages such as Belemedik, Kuşçular, Hacıkırı, Emirler, and Yenice in the Pozantı and Karaisalı districts of Adana and the Tarsus district of Mersin are directly affected.
