REGAS Commentary
This regulation has the potential to increase public weight in the management of commercial enterprises along coastal and shore strips. For citizens, the quality of service and orderliness in coastal areas will depend on the efficiency of the operational model conducted by public institutions. Especially for local businesses in the tourism and service sectors, the inclusion of public institutions in this field may affect competitive conditions. What is essential is that these leases are carried out in a transparent, competitive manner, and most in line with the public interest.
